Review of St. Vincent (2014) by Rosemary T — 21 Jan 2015
It's not a comedy in the true sense of the word. It won't give you healthy laughs. It's more like a dramedy. Vincent is a hateful character at the beginning, but then you start know him through Oliver's eyes.
He became this way because of his difficultt life: his wife has Alzheimer, he has a lot of debts etc. Despite his nature, Oliver likes him and he even proclaims him a saint at school. It's a nice movie and it's Bill Murray's one of the best performances of his career so far.
