Review of St. Vincent (2014) by Cesar G — 22 Aug 2015
St. Vincent proves that there is nothing Bill Murray can't do. Maybe not the funniest or best movie Murray has ever done, but definitely one of his strongest performances. He is divine. Melissa McCarthy finds success yet again, already a veteran in her short film career.
Watts and Lieberher also donate strong parts mixing the acting chemistry nicely. Vincent is a well-written story and perfectly chosen cast. There were times at the beginning when I wasn't sure, but as it went on it just got better and better.
St. Vincent will bring laughter, sadness, and the feel goods. It's one worth watching, and not just once.
