Review of St Trinian's (2007) by Dany P — 09 Mar 2009
In my opinion, this story about an anarchist boarding school for girls can be designated as "trash". Half children's adventure movie (the girls are planning a heist to bring up the money to save the school), half slapstick with partly very old jokes, full of clichés and in most cases low below the waist.
Some brilliant acting is in it, mostly by Rupert Everett in the role of the female headmaster and her brother. Still, the humour of it all wasn't completely my kind, too indelicate and exaggerated.
