Review of St Trinian's (2007) by Cheryl L — 10 Oct 2012
The plot is a bit daft but Rupert Everett is the main draw for the movie. He is a hoot in drag, superbly delivered as the headmistress of a rule-breaking, do-as-you-please girls' school. The devious, manipulative and gin swigging brattish belles are armed with sexy stockings and suspenders, the skimpiest of school uniforms and calling themselves the defendors of anarchy, provides the eye candies.
The students gets into all sorts of trouble here and generally making life hell for the teachers. This reinvention of the 1954 Ealing comedy The Belles of St. Trinian's ,It's not deep or meaningful but it's good for a giggle.
