Review of St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold (2009) by Harriet G — 30 Dec 2009
Okay, so this isn't really a 5-star film. It's probably, a 3, maybe, but in terms of how much I enjoyed it? 5-stars. It's jolly good fun, what-what. The jokes are silly, the adventure is silly, the characters are silly and it's bloody entertaining.
Rupertt Everett is marvellous, as are all the girls. I only have a few mily niggles with the film, but mild they are because it's just so fun. It might, once more, be testament to my ridiculous sense of humour that I was in tears from laughing so hard (Bufty Rolls-Royce!), but if you appreciate silly comments and mild innuendo, St.
Trinian's is the place to be. Needless to say, it won't win anyone over who didn't enjoy the first installment of this new generation of unruly girls, but if the first one was your cup of tea, here's a top-up!
