Review of St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold (2009) by Bill T — 02 Jan 2011
The last of the St Trinians movies (that is, until they make a new one) features again, Rupert Everett as the headmistress and Colin Firth her lover, and a whole pack of school girls trying to get the lowdown of the Headmistress's late late relative's pirate gold stash before an evil exec gets it first.
As like the first one, this really doesn't compare to the 60's St Trinians movies, as the 60's ones focused more on the adults bewildered by these kids, and these focus more on the girls themselves.
Again, more of a girl power movie. I liked this one more then the first, it's a bit more goofy, and Firth and Everett play their relationship a little more cartoonish this time round.
