Review of Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003) by Ian X — 29 Mar 2018
Spy Kids 3: Game Over may have some creativity in the designs of the video game worlds and Ricardo Montalban, despite having his head photoshopped on a CGI body does seem to be trying his best with what he was given in his last film.
However the CGI looks even worse than last time, even by these film's standards, the lack of any sort of plot structure as a result of promoting the use of 3D which also looks terrible makes this the least appealing of the series, and massive plotholes such as Donnagon (Mike Judge) still working at the OSS despite attempting to kill the Cortez family in the last film and the absence of a majority of the family until the last battle for poorly explained reasons which is ultimately why the franchise went "Game Over" for almost a decade.
