SPy Kids.... What can I say about this movie? Well, it's pretty cool actually.

The film is about two spies, though they were enemies, they fell in love, married and had children, thus, they retired. However some of the agents of the OSS ( their agency ) began to disappear. So they accepted a mission to discover what is going on. But they are kidnapped. Then the villain, who happens to be the star of their son's favorite show, goes to find their children. The children, Carmen and Juni, discover about their parents being spies and try to use the equipment to find their parents.

Yeah, the story is not that good, but, the movie as a whole is actually pretty good. The movie has some cool action scenes and decent visuals, the writing was smart and the directing was nice. But the thing that makes this movie great is that: it's actually believable. It's not like that wannabe that was released three years later, Catch that Kid. Not only beacause the kids in the movie actually act like siblings but we actually get to understand how little kids can do that. They didn't do nothing they couldn't, I mean, they had spy equipment.

But if there's one thing that makes this family film better than all the others, is that, most of the live action films today, are fun for the kids, but a bore to their parents. Spy Kids have a good amunt of James Bond-feel to it that makes it really incredible for the children, while still being a great source of entertainment for their parents.

Though silly, Spy Kids is an example of a great family film, its action packed, its charming, its funny and has some good family values to it. As a kid, you will love it, as an adult, you will enjoy it 7,7/10 - Great.
