Review of Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams (2002) by Erik O — 06 Jul 2008

Some of the creatures in this film were cool, and would make great action figures... but the film, itself, is just bad. The first one was a lot of fun, and it's a shame that it had to be ruined by two less-than-stellar sequels.

If this was your first Rodriguez film, I'm begging you to not judge him, or his works, on this... because this film doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of his greatness. He's a fun and creative filmmaker, and this flick just doesn't do him any justice, whatsoever.
