Review of Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams (2002) by Curren W — 31 Aug 2009
While the action scenes are still energetic and there are a few jokes that manage to work, Spy Kids 2 suffers from one big problem; ginourmous plot holes. They just throw in a bunch of cliches without any explanation; for example, there's one scene where they go through a cursed cave, and they find a bunch of cursed treasure where pirate prisoners stashed it..... wait, pirate prisoners? This is the point where I get confused.
If you can ignore the plot holes, which is very difficult for me, Spy Kids 2 is another campy and fun kids film.
