Review of Spy Game (2001) by Travis T — 16 Sep 2009
I think this one goes unnoticed and deserves more respect. Definitely underrated. I don't care what people say about Tony Scott as being a flamboyant, huge budget director. His movies are awesome. The fusion of sound and quick edits with quick moving cameras is terrific for grabbing attention.
His style in this movie saved it for sure. The story might not have been the most intriguing or captivating, but Scott fueled it for sure. It was great. I enjoyed Robert Redford in this one. He really bamfed over the whole CIA all the while sticking to the building.
He rescued Pitt from the other side of the world. How amazing is that? Great movie.
