It's bereft of the heartfelt and hilarious McCarthy-Bullock interplay that made The Heat such a blast of action-packed fun, but Spy proves that Melissa McCarthy is more than capable of handling a comedic picture on her own, and delivers its share of skillfully choreographed action and uproariously funny lines communicated through its magnificently talented actress.
