Review of Spy (2015) by Evangelos C — 09 Jul 2016
The chuckles keep on coming in Paul Feig's spoof on modern spy movies. Melissa McCarthy leads a competent cast as a back room agent thrust onto the frontline when a plot to foil the sale of a nuclear warhead goes wrong.
With supporting roles taken by Miranda Hart, Jude Law, a very wooden Jason Statham and Peter Serafinowicz, this is a fun, easy movie that doesn't really break new but does what it does well.
