Review of Spy (2015) by Chris F — 30 Oct 2015
Spy proves that director Paul Feig and star Melissa McCarthy are the perfect combo. This movie is hilarious because of its star, but the supporting cast is great as well. Jason Statham is surprisingly hilarious and the actress who plays McCarthy's best friend is very funny as well.
I expected another dumb bumbling spy type of movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. The final act of the film, however, was a bit underwhelming. Still, this film is another fun spoof of the spy genre, and shows the combination of Feig and McCarthy produces very funny films.
