It is a funny movie. The shtick of making McCarthy look as awful as they can, but then having a "reveal" of her being beautiful is getting old. Look, she's a very attractive woman, the fact that she's overweight doesn't mean she's ugly.
Hollywood is just showing us it's shallowness by saying "hey, even a fat girl can be pretty!". I'm sure they think it's showing us how excepting there are, but we're not stupid.
Listen Hollywood, use McCarthy for what she is, a funny, talented, attractive actress.
