Review of Spun (2003) by Lyndon G — 26 Nov 2007
Hard to imagine anyone wanting to take speed after seeing this. The fast scenes are surprisingly good. The drama is not play-worthy, but the characters and dialogue remind me of real people, sometimes hilariously, often depressingly.
Because other movies have done the cosmic downside of drug use more artfully, this one strikes for somewhere between realistic and exaggerated for brevity, which suits a movie with a record number of shots.
