Review of Spun (2003) by Tristan P — 26 May 2008
I've never really understood why I'm so drawn to drug movies when I hate drugs... don't make no sense. In the case of SPUN, it might be the fascinating direction or the excellent cast with some of my favourite actors (Mickey Rourke, Patrick Fugit, Mena Suvari, Peter Stormare and, yup... Ron Jeremy) that draw me in. For my money, this is a far better depiction of the ravages of addiction than REQUIEM FOR A DREAM.
Is it wrong that I find Mena Suvari hot in this???
