Review of Spun (2003) by Richard C — 04 Jul 2009
Tightly edited, jolts back and forth in its mimicry of the effects of meth. It's in similar style to Natural Born Killers, except the flashiness you can withstand. It's also very similar to Requiem for a Dream; that is the moralistic indie version of the effects of drugs, this is the darkly funny and fun version where you spend time with all of the loony characters.
Shows the grittiness of a life under meth, it's disgusting and I don't know if I'm less or more intrigued in the whole drug business. One thing's for sure: clean my room, brush my teeth, take a hot shower!
