Review of Spun (2003) by Angel M — 29 Jan 2010
The good point of this movie was that the characters were good - I especially liked The Cook (Mickey Rourke) for his laid-back attitude - and the acting didn't feel too forced. But... the plot wasn't that surprising, it was actually kind of boring, and in the end there wasn't a higher message that I would have liked to hear.
It was just... guy does drugs and then some crazy stuff happens. And that's it. All in all, not that good of a movie. The ending, though, was kind of nice, when I think about it.
