Review of Spun (2003) by Suse — 20 Feb 2014

I've never seen a movie that was so real and surreal at the same time. Artful as well as gritty, some people will take a quick look and not " get" this. Surrounded by talented people, Mickey Rourke steals this movie.

His monologue at the end of the movie had to be written by him and brought tears to my eyes. I laughed most of the way through this movie and then was hit with his words. Only open-minded people will be able to watch this gem.

Someday more critics will "get" this and it will be declared a cult classic.
