Review of Spun (2000) by Lic Carlos M — 27 Feb 2010
What a trippy film! I had a hard time keeping up with the randomness that occurs in this film. A great cast and a bunch of great performances, but this movie is just way to out there for my liking. It is very comparable to Requiem For A Dream with it's hundreds of split second shots, but I definitely enjoyed "For a Dream" better.
Quick mention for my favorite scenes go to Jason Schwartzman tying up his girlfriend and leaving her for days, but always trying to apologize. Definitely one of the funnier moments of the film.
