Review of Spring Breakers (2013) by Gina B — 06 Jan 2014
Can't shake the songs and images out of my head today, so I'll have to say that this is a memorable film. The film follows four teenage girls on spring break and the parties they encounter in Florida.
The scenes looks like a MTV reel and we quickly see how the "fun" that they're having leads to consequences. I'm a bit sickened by the craziness of the spring breakers, but I'm sure that's what the director was going for.
Will probably not watch it again, but still a fun film to talk about. James Franco as a white rapper was great!
