Review of Spring Breakers (2013) by Adara D — 17 Jan 2014
Although a mere echo in stylish soundtrack and assaulting violence like Drive, Spring Breakers bleeds hypnotic teen debauchery. Skrillex scores this cult movie where the party will never stop to the detriment of all.
Idealization, hopes and beliefs are quashed. Franco is the real star putting in a beyond the call often hilarious performance as Alien the girls' idol who has refused to conform to the rules of society.
It is a shock to the visual and aesthetic senses and certainly not for all, but I found myself hypnotized. First time rating: 7.9/10.
