Review of Spring Breakdown (2009) by Paul C — 01 Jul 2009
It's understandable why this movie was direct-to-dvd. I mean, it was funny but was a bit too light on story and character. I did find it amusing, but it's definitely not worth a movie ticket.
Parker Posey, Rachel Dratch, and Amy Poehler play three fairly unpopular friends given a second chance to relive their spring break college days. While the main cast was funny, I believe that three people were overlooked and not listed as cast members on here. First is Jane Lynch, who plays a senator up for the vice president position. Then there's Missi Pyle, who plays the wild hotel worker 'Charlene'. Lastly is Seth Meyers, who plays Rachel Dratch's obviously gay fiance. They were hilarious! Will Arnett was pretty funny, though he had a really small role (yet he's listed as part of the cast).
