Review of Spring (2014) by Jen H — 20 Oct 2015
Surprisingly affecting, it really builds upon you unexpectedly from a really peculiar start which is largely irrelevant. The setting is beautiful and the sunset scenes are spectacular--I really liked these parts.
The mish-mash of genres was mostly successful, and the whole atmosphere was just really strong. It's a straightforward romance whilst on a coming-of-age roadtrip, with some horror elements thrown in.
