Review of Spring (2014) by Joetaeb D — 27 Apr 2015
Announced as a Horror and Romance combo, yet unbalanced offering too much flirtation and too little horror. Most of the time there was even no development, other than some uninteresting romantic activities that were unnecessary for the story.
The only other plot line was in the form of dialogues with the farmer where our main character worked and had a room to stay, providing for some side information about the environment and the people living there.
The beginning of the story (the bar fight) distracts from the main theme and could easily be left out, if only to un-waste 10 minutes of running time. The same plot could also revolve around (for example) a US tourist visiting Italy.
All in all, not very interesting and not up to what was promised by the average critic.
