Review of Spriggan (1998) by Jed P — 12 Aug 2007
Let's get a couple of things straight. First, this contains little to no character development. If you're looking for characterization, you're not going to enjoy this at all. Second, this film swipes maybe two or three ideas from Akira.
Notwithstanding those flaws, the animation presented will shock you. That is, the visuals are incredible and fluid. This movie follows the motion picture rule that if you can dazzle the audience visually, the film is worth watching.
In this case, it definitely is.
