Review of Spree (2020) by Imthenoob — 12 Feb 2021
Spree tries too hard to be something bigger than it actually is and that is one of two reasons why it fails. The other being sloppy writing that requires a lot of illogical things to happen in order for the plot to get moving (How he first escapes the cops, How no one seems to take his stream seriously despite clearly committing these crimes).
No way in this day and age would anyone go "Yeah, this is fake" and let him keep keeping on. Its just nonsense and it is almost eye-rolling at times with how much disbelief you have to suspend in order to stomach what is happening onscreen.
