Review of Spread (2009) by Roxanne R — 01 Jan 2010

I think Ashton Kutcher is a pro at picking up women and this film offers what I believe to be a very accurate portrayal of the dating scene and player/singles scene in Los Angeles..The writing was clever, interesting and you learn some great tips about the singles scene..Ashton Kutcher has a brand new movie out called Spread, about a guy named Nikki who is such a player that heâ??s slept his way to a life of privilege. He lives in a gorgeous home of a middle-aged female attorney (played by Anne Heche), but beds as many women as he possibly can on the side. Everything is going according to plan, until he meets a waitress named Heather (Margarita Levieva), who is playing the same life game he is.

The two find themselves eating at fine restaurants and crashing posh parties, until the truth of their lives forces them to choose between love and money. Ashton as always looks divine, very cute and Anne Heche did a nice job as the 40 something attorney smitten by Kutcher- her home was to die for!! Gorgeous home!!! If you enjoy Los Angeles and want to take a good peek at what goes on in certain circles and how nobodies manage to meet somebodies, then by all means rent it, you will not be disappointed!!
