Huge misfire. The film needed a rewrite. It also was a little predictable. The film reminded me of a poor copy of American Gigolo. Ashton Kutcher is miscast in the lead role. Kutcher lacks the charm for the role and instead comes off as annoying from beginning till the end.
Another actor in that role could have made more out of that role than he does. Anne Heche, Margarita Levieva, and Sebastian Stan make the most of their roles, given what they have to work with. I say skip Spread and watch American Gigolo instead.
