Review of Spotlight (2015) by Roger C — 01 Mar 2016
It tells an important story, it's well acted by a great ensemble cast, and does not resort to cheap thrills or melodrama. on the other hand, while there is nothing really at fault with SPOTLIGHT, it is not really that exciting either.
it's a bit like watching titanic, you already know what's happening in the end, and in this case it really takes out most of the tension.
