2015 for me was a not very good movie year. And, I'm not sure in a different year that this would have won Best Picture, but it's really something to look back in 5 or 10 years and see,.

That being said, I enjoyed the movie and found it surprisingly better than expected. From the understated acting (Liev Schreiber and Rachel McAdams in particular), to the choices made on how and where to end the story, to how Boston became almost another character, I really enjoyed this.
