After hearing all the good reception for this film, I was very excited to see it and when my theater got it finally, I rushed to see it. and wow it's absolutely fantastic. Spotlight is a very important film.
it takes a very mature and sensitive subject and brings it to the light with grace, politeness, and respect and it never seems to glorify or lionize these reporters. and the acting is absolutely phenomenal and the ensemble as a whole is brilliant.
everyone here gives outstanding performances, and I mean everybody. Spotlight is a wholly engrossing, thrilling look into investigative journalism and a rewarding cinematic treat. one of the greatest films I have seen all year.
