Review of Spotlight (2015) by Charles B — 27 Mar 2016
Although there wasn't a true lead actor in this incredible ensemble cast, it wasn't necessary in winning "Best Film" at the Oscars. The acting was phenomenal, all around, as was the script.
A sad, but true story that needed to be told by the press- and now through this film. It reignites your faith in humanity, even when individuals fail- and they will. I particularly loved the performance from Mark Ruffalo, although Michael Keaton may come across the strongest.
Rating: 8 / 10.
