I have NO idea how this won Best Picture. It wouldn't have been nominated in my opinion. Kudos to Mark Ruffalo for that great scene that we saw a clip of during the Academy awards, but the rest of the movie was pretty un-interesting. Rachel McAdams didn't deserve a nomination at all.
The movie was mostly Boston Globe writers investigating their story. Hardly any drama between them and the Catholic Church.
