Review of Spotlight (2015) by Duke W — 27 Apr 2016
Spotlight shows the actions of reporters uncovering a story that revealed the priests and their abuse of children. granted it's a good story and the movie does a great job at unveiling everything when it needs to but I didn't feel it worthy of the award it got.
the directing is bland, the actors did great and the story were the only thing going for it. I get its inspired by what actually happened but stop making movies that are somewhat documentaries into something more then they actually are.
