Review of Spotlight (2015) by Olli G — 01 Jan 2017
Astonishingly powerful film with an incredible cast. Spotlight manages to present its subject matter in a poignant way and avoids unnecessary 'hero-worshipping' of the subjects. Sure the plot can get rather jumbled at times but that serves to give the impression of the sheer volume of work, links and leads that the real life subjects had to go through.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
