My name is Brian Galyean...I was SO thrilled that this movie was written and told...even winning the Oscar for best film last year!!! WONDERFUL!!! I am a survivor of sexual abuse within the catholic church.
I was abused by 3 priests when I was 13....Msgr James J Reilly, and two Jesuits, Fr Pat Koch, and Fr Ben Smiley..all of Dallas...I won my lawsuit against all 3 and it felt amazing to NO LONGER BE SILENT!!!! 30 years I was quiet and lived a lie to my family and friends.
..During my lawsuit I learned how many kids before be who committed suicide because they were quiet...lived in fear...I now made a foundation called BE LOUD which helps kids feel confident and to speak up.
