'Spotlight' is one of those films where you can hardly believe that the events unfolding in front of you actually happened. The scale of this cover-up is unbelievable, and the film does an excellent job of telling the story right, and isn't some pretentious oscar-bait movie like it could have been. Despite some pacing issues throughout; and the fact that there's a lot of information (mainly names) to process and remember in a short space of time, with the help of some excellent performances and a fantastic script, the movie is a dark yet deserving watch.
