Review of Spooks: The Greater Good (2015) by Gareth W — 07 May 2015
Its been a few years since the tv series has ended so a movie now is very much welcome. Harry Pearce is the head of the MI5 counter terrorism unit when a mission to hand over terrorist Adam Qasim over to the CIA goes tits up.
Harry takes the fall but the agency wants old agent Will Holloway (Kit Harrington) to track down Harry who is privately investigating the agency for some shady work of their own. It really is a film of punch and counter punch and is tremendously entertaining.
Kit Harrington is turning into a real star and Peter Firth was still awesome as ever as Harry. I fully recommend the tv show as it was better but this film does it justice.
