Interesting premise- Escaped convicts take group hostage and hide out at an abandoned mining town on the fringes of a 50's nuclear test site in the Nevada desert. While holed up waiting for a blackmailed doctor to arrive, the army is planning a test, and bumps up the detonation time before the criminals can escape.
Oops... Did I just give away the ending? Oh well- Not like this one pops up on HBO every other day. Worth a watch!
