Review of Split (2017) by Mayank A — 31 Mar 2017

Loved the brilliant script, it had chilling thrills, real tense moments, clever layouts and some intriguing open endings. It's a very character focus movie and James McAvoy get's the role of a lifetime playing the main protagonist, while he was good did feel the part should have gone to a more versatile actor, Johnny Deep comes to the mind.

On the other hand Anya Taylor-Joy was perfect in portraying her role. The direction is good but could have been better with a bigger production value, this screenplay deserved a bigger budget, still a great job accomplished for the small budget of 9 million dollars.
