M. Night Shyamalan gets a bad rap and I say that as someone who hated The Sixth Sense (to this day one of the worst cinema experiences I've had). Yet his last two flicks have been a real return to form, and as close as he has come to reaching the standard of Unbreakable.

McAvoy chews scenery throughout, but it's certainly a performance - full of cheese, but totally entertaining, including a dance scene that is comedy gold. That's where M. Night has been going wrong - a total lack of dance scenes in his movies.
