Review of Split (2017) by Don S — 01 Jun 2017
I swore I wouldn't watch another Shyamalan movie, and I should have stuck to that. While it is indeed, a thriller, and does a nice job moving up to a big climatic moment, this movie simply doesn't deliver, and it doesn't make sense.
At least M. Night didn't give us another stupid-"gotcha"-ending. He just doesn't give us any sensible, coherent ending at all. James McAvoy is pretty darn good - maybe he knows what this movie is supposed to be about! M.
Night really needs to stop. And so do I.
