Review of Split (2017) by Mark Jay K — 12 Mar 2018
It's such a shame that James McAvoy's very good central performance should be glued to such a preposterous and at times hokey script. Shyalaman Is Capable of occasionally arresting sequences and an intriguing premise, but he doesn't know what to do with them and the movie becomes progressively tedious and implausible.
By the end only Shyalaman knows what he's talking about.
