An excellent cast and script...timeless love story almost makes you forget how 80's the outfits are and how illogical some of it is (forget mermaid...how did they just drive from that part of NYC to that other part?).
..but the humor and the sweetness override everything else. Daryl Hannah, Tom Hanks, John Candy, & Eugene Levy? Heck. Yeah. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise...amazing!
