Skip the vadim; the malle is worth watching, if only for its hip perversity. but toby dammit wipes the other two off the table---fellini at his strangest, yet most pure, in this vision of italian movie industry as hell.
terence stamp is unforgettable, as is the pale, coyly smiling little girl.
