Review of Spirits of the Dead (1968) by Maciek B — 30 May 2009
Three renowned directors adapt Edgar Allan Poe's stories. Idea is brilliant but effect just so-so. One star for costumes and Jane Fonda in Vadim's story. Another star for Alain Delon in Malle's one.
Finally, one star for loose adaptation by Fellini.
