I am not usually a fan of the Christmas Carol, because I find this tale a bit too old fashioned. But this felt fresh! I really enjoyed this. This was a good time. This is definitely a Christmas movie, and it's a good one. I am really recommending this, but I don't know if a lot of people have apple+. Perhaps that's a shame, because this film deserves an audience.

I had doubts about the musical angle at first, and in the beginning it started to feel like padding, but I really got into the ambiance and the style after the first 15 minutes. And there are that many songs, they never feel out of place. While there are a couple of scenes that looked a bit green screen-ish, this film has a good production, good songs, and great dance scenes, and the story is a really good twist on the Christmas carol.
