Review of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) by Carolyn S — 09 Sep 2010
No cutesy talking animals, instead amusing facial expressions to add character. Spirit dares to ignore ever-growing popularity of computer-animation and cute to risk a more natural feel, accomplishing it wonderfully.
Even adults can enjoy this film for its beauty and warmth, even if it is geared for children. It could only be improved on if the narrative for Spirit was removed completely and Brian Adams was replaced with the breathtaking instrumental tracks the film dazzles viewers with.
